How many treatments do I need?
As each individual is unique, there is no simple answer to this question. However, most people notice significant improvement within 2-3 treatments, and in many cases, quite dramatic changes after the first treatment itself.
It is important that clients regularly review their own progress and reevaluate their treatment options. We believe, that with any physical therapy modality, if you are not noticing significant, lasting improvement within 6-8 treatments, then it is highly unlikely you will ever get permanent relief with that combination of therapy and therapist.
At Ravel Therapies, we are interested in addressing the underlying issues causing your symptoms, bringing about lasting results and not just short term relief. We regularly review your progress, and if we feel you may respond better to another type of therapy, we will readily refer you on.
Even after they are well on the way to full recovery, many clients choose to have regular treatments, typically every 3-4 weeks, as our targeted treatments are an ideal way of stopping lifestyle factors such as work environments and stress from bringing back those symptoms!
